Working Principle

The 22kW 8bar variable frequency air screw compressor is a positive displacement rotary compressor with a twin-screw structure design. The core component is a pair of intermeshing spiral yin and yang rotors (the male rotor is convex teeth and the female rotor is concave teeth). The motor drives the male rotor to rotate through a coupling or synchronous gear, and the female rotor realizes reverse synchronous operation through high-precision synchronous gears to ensure that the rotors always maintain a precise meshing gap.

During the suction process, the tooth groove space of the rotor is the largest when it turns to the opening of the intake end wall, and the outside air is sucked into the tooth groove under the action of atmospheric pressure. When the intake side end face of the rotor turns away from the intake port, the air in the tooth groove is closed and the suction process ends.

As the rotor continues to rotate, the air in the tooth groove is brought to the exhaust end, the volume between the tooth grooves gradually decreases, the air is compressed, and the pressure continues to rise. This is the compression process. During the compression process, the oil injection system sprays lubricating oil into the compression chamber. The lubricating oil plays a role in sealing, cooling and lubricating, which helps to improve the efficiency and reliability of the compressor.

When the meshing end face of the rotor turns to communicate with the exhaust port of the casing, the compressed air begins to be discharged until the meshing surface of the tooth tip and the tooth groove moves to the exhaust end face, the tooth groove space is zero, and the exhaust process is completed. At this point, a complete working cycle ends, the rotor continues to rotate, repeats the above process, and continuously provides compressed air for industrial production.
